Lake Tahoe

Lake Tahoe is definitely worth the visit, especially for travelers who shuttle between San Francisco and Las Vegas, en route the interstate highway.  Food should not be a hindrance, as there are numerous supermarkets and fast-food joints, including three MacDonald’s.
