reader as a producer of the text.
Conclusion
At this point, it is obvious and reasonable to support Barthes’ view
that hypertext indeed created an environment for “writerly" text.
The reader of any hypertext will have the freedom to create meaning out
of the separate blocks inter-linked through a web-based structure.
The reader, in other words, takes a big chunk out of the role of a
traditional writer, that is, the sequencing of the storyline. Read up my group-mates' writings on this topic:
